This course provides a clear, structured comparison between the traditional Safety Management System (SMS) as defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization and its evolution through the integration of the AVIMOTION model.

The objective is not to replace SMS, but to expand it by incorporating the

emotional and human dimensions as measurable operational variables.

Participants will leave with a clear understanding of:

• Why compliance-based systems fail in real operational environments

• How AVIMOTION closes that gap

Based on the Safety Management Manual (Doc 9859), this course introduces thetransition from:

• Safety I → Safety II → Human-Centered Emotional Safety (HCES)
